Welcome to TempMail. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TempMail temporary email website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

TempMail provides free, temporary, disposable email addresses that can receive email messages for a limited period of time. The Service requires no registration and stores no personal data. Temporary addresses and their messages are automatically deleted when they expire.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful and legitimate purposes, such as protecting your privacy, testing, and one-time sign-ups. You must not use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activity, fraud, phishing, spamming or harassment.
• Register for services in a way that violates those services' terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system or network.
• Distribute malware or engage in any activity that harms the Service or other users.
• Circumvent security measures, rate limits, or abuse-prevention systems.

3. Receive-only service

The Service is receive-only. You cannot send emails from a temporary address. Temporary inboxes are public in the sense that anyone who knows or guesses an address could potentially view its messages. Never use a temporary address for sensitive, private, financial or confidential information, or for recovering important accounts.

4. No guarantee of availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that any specific email will be delivered, or that any address or message will remain available for any particular length of time.

5. Data retention and loss

Temporary addresses and all associated messages are automatically and permanently deleted upon expiry. We cannot recover expired inboxes or messages. You are solely responsible for acting on any message before its address expires.

6. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. By using the Service you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies.

7. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design and code of the TempMail website (excluding the content of emails you receive) are the property of TempMail and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the Service without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TempMail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TempMail from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
